Submissions

Consultation has concluded

Submissions closed at 5pm on Friday, 17 May 2019

The Taskforce has investigated complaints and allegations of fraudulent behaviour that have led to subcontractor non-payment in Queensland’s building industry. We invited submissions from any individual or organisation to provide a confidential submission to the Special Joint Taskforce.

All submissions were assessed against the Terms of Reference to ensure they were within the scope of the Taskforce. Submissions were accepted online, via email, in writing via post and in person.

If you made a submission, you will have received an acknowledgement notice with a reference number and a letter outlining the Taskforce’s action relation to your submission.

If you are owed money for a payment claim, please visit the Queensland Building and Construction Commission website.

Information on the Queensland Government’s changes to security of payment legislation is available on the Department of Housing and Public Works website.
